So I guess a part-time job is better than no job at all.

[GUESS WHO'S GOING TO BE WORKING AT VIOLET'S POKECENTER FOR A FEW DAYS/WEEKS/IDK?]

It's still mildly frustrating that I can't be a police officer, but I can adjust to going back to filing paperwork. Even though I'm not a kid trying to manage her way through highschool.

I wouldn't even mind being a security guard...

I guess this means I'll be staying in town for awhile, but that's not so bad. The surrounding area is pretty interesting...especially this Tower. Bizarre choice in architecture, it acts like it should topple down any minute.

[a pause, she sounds slightly distracted and there's an echo of a bark.]

There you are Rinty. You shouldn't run up ahead like...

...oh.

[CUE BATTLE MUSIC but you're not going to see any of this, sorry guys. she's just gonna shut off her 'Gear as she fights off a level 5 Gastly.]

[Have a weary-looking Cybil with a Zubat curled up, sleeping, on her shoulder. She looks...slightly miffed but she's keeping her cool and taking a breather in a Pokemon Center.]

Of course the weather starts getting better as soon as I get here. Don't think I want to be caught in the middle of traveling in a storm like that ever again.

I should have payed attention to the weather more carefully before heading out...I'm usually more forward-thinking than this...

[She rubs the back of her neck and shakes her head.]

So, for curiosity's sake [and she motions to the Zubat snoozing on her shoulder] how common are these bats? I caught this one before I headed out, but took shelter in a local cave and, even though I wasn't able to see much, I did catch glimpses of them every five seconds. I wish I was exaggerating.
